Time to check out your furnace? At A1 Heating and Air we are doing lots of tune ups for our customers so they will be ready for the cold weather to come. It is a fact that our customers who have us check out and tune up their furnace or heat pump before winter hits have much fewer service calls when it is really cold. In fact, less than 2% of our customers have any problem at all even on older systems if they do a tune up on their system.

What makes our tune up different? Time! We spend more time thoroughly going over your system than the "big guys" and it shows. Some things to remember if you want to keep your unit heating properly this winter:

Change the filter! This is the single best thing you can do to keep your system clean and running well. Clogged filters reduce air flow which increases internal heat in your furnace which can damage the heat exchangers. Also, when the filter gets clogged air will still find its way through your system around the filter dragging dirt and dust into the motor and fan and back into your home. Not good.
